Access Statement
Introduction:
Haldon Priors is a Victorian Villa over One Hundred & Fifty Years Old.
Whilst our aim is to meet the needs of all our guests, there are some features which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility.
Location:
Haldon Priors is about ½ mile from Torquay harbour and Town Centre. It is about 200 yards from the Meadfoot Beach.
There is a bus Stop directly outside the property.
Taxis can normally be called within 5 minutes.
Torquay Railway Station is about 1 mile. From Meadfoot Sea road, there is a short drive up to the car park, which is adjacent and level to the front door, there are 4 steps of 6 inches to the reception. Help with luggage is always available.
Accommodation:
All bedrooms are on the first floor. These are accessed by a wide stair case with steps of 7 inches and a hand rail.
All bedrooms are en- suite
All bedrooms have tele - text flat screen TV’s
All bedrooms have radio and CD player
All bedrooms have refreshment facilities
There is a ground floor toilet
The dinning room is spacious and level to the reception
The guest lounge is up 2 steps of 6 inches
The sun terrace is accessed by 4 steps of 7 inches with a hand rail.
The garden is on a slope and partially terraced, making access quite difficult
